October 15, 2026Free Tools, TikTok Drafts Fallback, Smoother Signup
  • NewFree tools, no signup: a thread splitter that turns long text into a numbered thread sized for X, Bluesky or Mastodon (counted the way each platform counts), and a Discord timestamp generator whose codes show in every reader's own time zone. At /tools.
  • ImprovedA scheduled TikTok video that TikTok will not post publicly yet now goes to your TikTok drafts at the time you picked, instead of failing, and the notification includes your caption to paste into TikTok. If it fails for another reason, the notification says why.
  • ImprovedIf TikTok turns down a Post Now, one tap sends the same video to your TikTok drafts instead.
  • FixedA scheduled TikTok video was counted twice against your monthly TikTok allowance, and a failed one was never given back.
  • FixedTikTok Studio checked videos against a 10-minute limit even when your TikTok account allows less, so a too-long video was only rejected later by TikTok.
  • NewSignup catches common email typos ("Did you mean gmail.com?"). The confirmation screen can send the email again, open your inbox, or let you fix the address, and signing in before confirming offers a resend.
  • FixedIf you took more than a minute to click your confirmation link, you never got the welcome emails or kept your newsletter choice.
  • FixedScheduling past your plan's window showed a message that just said "true". It now says why and what upgrading allows, and every time on the last day the date picker offers can be scheduled.
October 2–13, 2026Discord and LinkedIn Delivery Fixes
  • FixedPosts to restricted Discord channels failed because the SocialMate bot asked for too few permissions. New connections ask for the right ones, and a refused post now says which channel permission to change.
  • ImprovedLinkedIn connections expire after 60 days with no way to renew them automatically. You now get a notice and an email a week before.
  • FixedA first scheduled post could be sent more than once if its status failed to save. Posts that already went out are now marked published instead of being sent again.
  • FixedDiscord accounts connected before September 3 could not post. Adding the SocialMate bot now upgrades them in place, without needing a free slot.
  • FixedThe blog index now shows every post, and each page tells search engines its own address.
September 26, 2026Discord Connects Again, First Post Made Easier, Honest Platform Status
  • FixedConnecting Discord was failing with an "Invalid OAuth2 redirect" error for everyone since September 3. It works again: SocialMate's bot is added to a server you manage, then you pick the channel to post into from a dropdown in the app.
  • NewWrite your first post from one sentence. Pick a kind of post (share an update, promote something, teach something), type a rough sentence or paste a link, and get an editable draft back. It appears in onboarding and on the Accounts page right after you connect a platform.
  • ImprovedOnboarding now suggests the platforms that connect in two clicks first, and warns you before you pick one with a catch: X needs Pro to post, and TikTok takes video only and goes to your drafts until TikTok approves public posting.
  • ImprovedIf the only thing you have connected is TikTok, or X on the free plan, Compose now tells you why it cannot post text and what to connect instead.
  • FixedCreator Hub now has a $3 minimum for tips, paywalled unlocks and subscriptions, and Stripe's processing fee comes out of each payment instead of SocialMate's balance. Newly connected Stripe accounts also could not accept payments at all until now.
  • ImprovedThe Accounts page says plainly which platforms are still waiting on approval: YouTube is awaiting Google, Instagram, Facebook and Threads need Meta app review, and Pinterest and Reddit have not approved our API applications yet.
September 10, 2026HERMES Opens Up, SOMA Add-on Fix, Faster Onboarding
  • NewHERMES — AI cold outreach across email, Bluesky, and Mastodon — is now available to everyone. Starter is $12/month (3 campaigns, 75 prospects/month), Pro is $25/month (10 campaigns, 400 prospects/month, weekly automated prospecting). Find it in the sidebar or at /hermes.
  • FixedSOMA Autopilot and Full Send now activate immediately after checkout. They were charging correctly but not turning on until we manually flipped a flag — that step is now automatic.
  • ImprovedZenith's "share your card" link now points to an actual live page instead of a broken one.
  • ImprovedCreator Studio, Community, Achievements, and a few other pages no longer render clipped behind the sidebar on desktop.
  • ImprovedOnboarding and signup load faster and stop shifting around while they load on mobile — a referral banner was popping in after the page had already rendered, pushing everything else down.
  • ImprovedThe roadmap is now collapsible and grouped by the month each item actually shipped.
September 1, 2026Connect-to-First-Post Fixes, Sitemap Rebuild, Crawler Accuracy
  • FixedCompose no longer pre-selects Discord for everyone. It now ticks the platforms you have actually connected, so you are not shown a warning about a platform you never chose while the one you did connect sits unticked.
  • FixedTikTok is no longer labelled "Coming Soon" in Compose. It has been live since May — it just takes video, so the chip now links straight to TikTok Studio.
  • FixedDiscord and Telegram need a channel before they can publish anything, and nothing said so. Your account card now tells you when no channel is picked, with a direct link to choose one.
  • NewConnecting an account now shows a persistent next step instead of a toast that disappears after three seconds — TikTok to the Studio, Discord and Telegram to channel setup, everything else straight to Compose.
  • NewCompose tells you up front when you have no accounts connected, rather than letting you write a post with nowhere to publish.
  • FixedSitemap now derives blog URLs from the database instead of a hand-kept list. 227 live blog posts had no sitemap entry at all, and seven URLs were duplicated. The sitemap went from 540 blog URLs to 767.
  • Fixedai.txt and the AI plugin manifest still quoted the old $20 Agency price from before the August repricing, and both listed Enki as a bundled feature. Corrected to $29 and Enki is now described accurately as a separate product.

  • NewLoading skeletons added to /accounts, /blog, /features, /settings, and /signup — every major route now shows an instant server-rendered skeleton during navigation instead of a blank page while JS loads.
  • ImprovedPreconnect hints added to app/layout.tsx for CDN and Supabase domains — shaves 100-200ms from first resource fetch on cold loads.
  • FixedBuild error on /features — export const revalidate was added to a "use client" component. Next.js 15 cannot export revalidate from client components. Removed. Rule: revalidate only works in Server Components.

  • Fixedvs/ metadata moved to layout.tsx for all 76 comparison pages — i18n agent added "use client" to all pages but left export const metadata in the same file. Next.js 15 does not allow both. Script extracted metadata to per-route layout.tsx files. Build passing.

  • FixedDashboard FCP fixed — loading spinner used border-black which is invisible on dark mode backgrounds. Changed to border-amber-500. Was causing measured FCP of 3+ seconds because the browser painted nothing visible.
  • NewDashboard and Onboarding loading skeletons — added loading.tsx to both routes. Next.js App Router now shows a server-rendered skeleton instantly during navigation instead of waiting for the full JS bundle to execute.
  • ImprovedBlog post ISR cache extended from 1 hour to 24 hours — hourly cache expiry was causing international CDN nodes to hit the US East origin server on cache miss, resulting in 3s+ FCP for visitors in Argentina, France, China, and Singapore.
  • ImprovedBlog index now cached — /blog was doing a fresh 500-row Supabase query on every single page load with no revalidation. Now cached for 24 hours.
May 29, 2026i18n Full Parity — 9 Locales, Mobile Sweep
  • NewJapanese (ja) and Korean (ko) added as full locales — complete translations for all landing page sections including hero, platforms, free tier, clips, AI tools, features, comparison, bio link, guides, story, SM-Give, and final CTA.
  • Improvedi18n parity sweep — all remaining hardcoded English strings replaced with t() calls. SM-Pulse and SM-Radar card descriptions in LocalizedLanding now translate. Mobile nav labels (Menu, Language, Merch, SM-Give) fully translated. All 9 locale files validated in sync.
  • ImprovedMobile nav labels translated — "Menu", "Language", "👕 Merch", and "❤️ SM-Give" in the mobile drawer now use t() and render in the user's chosen language.

  • FixedBluesky token rotation race condition — when Inngest fired multiple Bluesky posts concurrently, the second post would fail with "authentication failed" because the first post had already rotated the shared refresh token. Fixed by re-reading the freshest token from the database on refresh failure.
  • FixedSOMA post scheduling jitter — all morning/afternoon/evening posts were scheduled at exactly the same second (09:00:00, 14:00:00, 19:00:00), causing the token race condition. Posts now spread randomly across a 44-minute window within each slot.
  • ImprovedPublish error visibility — failure reasons per platform are now saved to the database. Hovering over a failed or partial post in the calendar now shows the actual error message (e.g. "Bluesky failed: session expired") instead of just a red X.
  • FixedCalendar platform breakdown now also renders for fully-failed posts, not just partial ones.

  • FixedRemoved next-intl plugin from next.config.ts — createNextIntlPlugin injects a webpack alias that Turbopack silently ignores, causing a runtime "config not found" error. Rewrote LocalizedLanding.tsx with direct JSON imports and a createT() helper function.
  • ImprovedPublic landing pages now server-render correctly in 7 languages via locale URL routes (/es, /de, /fr, /pt, /ru, /zh). TypeScript enforces all locale files match the en.json shape at build time.
