How to set it up
- 1In Telegram, message @BotFather, create a bot and copy the token it gives you.
- 2Add your bot to your channel or group as an admin.
- 3In SocialMate, connect Telegram with the bot token, then add your channel username or chat ID on the Destinations page.
- 4Write a post in Compose, choose Telegram and pick a time.
Good to know
- SocialMate posts to channels and groups. It does not reply to members or run commands in your chat.
- The bot has to be an admin of the channel to post there.
- Posting to X needs the Pro plan.
