What Claude Code Actually Is

Most AI coding tools autocomplete lines. Claude Code is different — it runs in your terminal, reads your entire codebase, edits files directly, runs commands, and opens pull requests. It's not a copilot. It's closer to a senior engineer available 24/7 who has read every line of your code.

What I Built With It

What It's Great At

  • **Cross-file edits**: "Update this pattern everywhere" — it does it

  • Can confidently generate wrong code — you still read and test everything
