For most creators, new subscribers come from somewhere else. Here is how to promote on X, Bluesky, Telegram and Reddit without losing the accounts that bring them in.
OnlyFans and Fansly do very little to put you in front of new people. For most creators, new subscribers arrive from a post somewhere else: X, Reddit, Bluesky, a Telegram channel, a TikTok that got shared. That makes the accounts you promote on the most valuable thing you have, and the easiest thing to lose.
Chefs, personal trainers, musicians and cosplayers sell subscriptions on these sites too. The advice below works for all of them. It matters most for adult creators, because the rules are stricter for them.
Rules change, so read the current version, but this is the shape of it in late 2026:
The posts that bring people in are rarely the explicit ones. They are the ones that make someone curious about you:
A feed of teasers like this is also safe on platforms that ban adult content, so the same post can go to more places.
Followers on X or Bluesky are rented. A Telegram channel or a Discord server is a list of fans you can reach whenever you post, whatever the algorithm is doing that week. Put the link everywhere and give people a reason to join, like early announcements or a weekly preview.
Consistency is what grows an account, and it is also what burns creators out. Write a week of posts in one sitting and schedule them for the hours your fans are awake, including fans in other time zones.
SocialMate schedules those posts to X, Telegram, Bluesky, Mastodon and Discord. Campaign mode rotates up to 20 messages, like your page link, a free trial and a new bundle, on the days and times you pick until an end date. SocialMate does not add adult content labels, so use it for the safe-for-work side of your promotion and keep every scheduled post within each platform's rules.
Some tools ask for your OnlyFans or Fansly password so they can automate messages or posts. Logging in as you through a third-party app can break the platform's terms and get the account you earn from suspended. Keep your creator login to yourself, and only connect tools to your promotion accounts.
If you work with a manager or an assistant, give them their own login instead of your passwords. In SocialMate, invite them as an Editor and they schedule to your accounts from their own account.
