How to Run Your Entire SaaS Social Presence in 1 Hour a Week

📅 May 21, 20261 min read

SaaS founders who are good at social media aren't the ones spending 2 hours a day on platforms. They're the ones who built a 1-hour weekly system and stuck to it. Here's the exact system.

The Weekly 60-Minute Social Session

Block 60 minutes every Monday morning (or Sunday evening). This is your entire social media operation for the week.

Minutes 0–15: Review and plan

What happened last week that's worth sharing? Check your metrics — any milestone worth posting? Any notable customer interaction, user quote, or decision you made that has a lesson in it? List 4–5 content angles.

Minutes 15–40: Write

Write 5–7 posts. One announcement (product update, feature, or milestone), 2–3 insight or opinion posts (your perspective on something in your industry or about building), 1–2 engagement posts (questions for your audience).

If you use AI (SocialMate's caption generator or SOMA), the writing step takes 10 minutes instead of 25. Draft, review, edit to sound like you.

Minutes 40–55: Schedule

Open SocialMate. Create each post, select platforms (LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Discord, Telegram — whatever you're on), choose dates. Smart Queue can auto-assign optimal times per platform.

Minutes 55–60: Engage

Spend the last 5 minutes responding to any comments from last week's posts. Genuine engagement drives algorithmic reach. Don't just post into a void — respond to people.

Close the laptop. Social media is handled for the week. Go build your product.
